Return & Exchange Policy

At Rug Artistry, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your rug for any reason—whether it’s the color, size, or texture—we are here to help with returns and exchanges.

Please review our detailed policy below to ensure a smooth process.


1. Return & Exchange Window

30-Day Return Period – You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return or exchange your rug.
After 30 days – Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or exchanges.


2. Conditions for Returns & Exchanges

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:

  • 🆕 Unwashed & Unused – The rug must be in its original condition with no signs of use, dirt, stains, or damage.
  • 📦 Original Packaging – The rug should be returned in its original packaging with all tags attached.
  • 🚫 No Alterations or Damage – Rugs that have been cut, altered, washed, or damaged will not be accepted.

🔍 Tip: Please inspect your rug immediately upon delivery to ensure it meets your expectations.


3. How to Return or Exchange a Rug

Returning or exchanging a rug is easy! Follow these steps:

🔹 Step 1: Contact Us

📧 Email us at [your email] or call +1 581-222-5257 within 30 days of delivery. Provide your order number and the reason for the return or exchange.

🔹 Step 2: Receive Return Authorization

Once your request is approved, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and provide return instructions. You must include this RMA number in your return package for proper processing.

🔹 Step 3: Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs (unless the item is damaged or defective).
  • We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure safe delivery.
  • We are not responsible for lost or undelivered return packages without tracking.

🔹 Step 4: Exchange (Optional)

Want a different style, size, or color? Let us know when you contact us! We will process the exchange once the returned rug is received and inspected.


4. Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your rug, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

💳 Important Notes:

  • A small restocking fee may apply for oversized or custom rugs (we will notify you before processing).
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable (unless the rug was damaged or incorrect).

5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

We take great care in packaging and shipping, but issues can happen. If your rug arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • Provide a full refund, exchange, or free repair (if applicable).
  • Cover return shipping costs for defective or incorrect items.

6. Non-Returnable Items

🚫 Certain rugs cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Custom or Personalized Rugs – Custom sizes, patterns, or colors.
  • Final Sale or Clearance Items – Items sold at deep discounts.
  • Rugs in Non-Resalable Condition – Stained, washed, or damaged rugs.

7. International Returns & Exchanges

🌎 We accept international returns, but please note:

  • 📦 Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • 🏷 Mark the return as ‘RETURN’ on the customs form to avoid extra fees.
  • Any customs fees due to incorrect documentation will be deducted from your refund.

8. Gift Returns

🎁 If you received a rug as a gift, you may exchange it for store credit within 30 days.

  • The original order number or proof of purchase is required.
  • Refunds will not be issued to the original gift purchaser—only store credit will be provided.
